Structured Workouts bug with the manual lap button
-
I had one instance of this I mentioned previously as part of a separate thread but as it’s now happened again I thought it worth raising as its own topic.
I was following a structured workout sync’d from TAO and one of the workout steps (a “cool down and walk home” step) uses a manual trigger from the lap button to complete. This was the second-to-last step in the workout.
The actual process of following the workout and pressing the lap button to move to the next step was all fine.
However, afterwards when I sync’d the activity I found, like last time, that all the workout steps before the manual lap press had been merged into a single “lap” while usually each step is treated as its own lap. As a result, my 7 step workout had only 2 laps - everything before the manual lap press and then the final step of the workout before I ended the activity.
What appears to be happening is that the manual lap button press is registering as the first lap transition, wiping out all the lap markers created by the structured workout up to that point.
