Step length data in training summary

I am attaching a picture from my training summary
The question is how does the system know step length when I don’t run with a shoe pod only with my watch - in this case a vertical watch!!

@Danny-poleg if it knows distance and steps then it’s just a derivation.
Step length = distance / (steps / 2)
So I suspect you ran 9 km!
