HRV on Vertical

Typical range for me is mid 60’s to low 70’s. Last few nights been in the high 70’s/ low 80’s but I’ve been taking ZMA to recover and making sure I’m hydrated.
70 ist high in your metrics, why then 80 is Low!? Its higher than 70. You have a Higher HRV

@babychai this normal range is individual for each one?? becose my is veri diferent!!
-
@EdCaballer yes HRV is different for everyone, but some « normal values range » exist.
Like every values you could be out of the range. The younger you are the higher your hrv should be. You can easily find litterature about it.
My normal range is between 40 and 50, pretty « low » for my age (I’m 43).
I don’t really matter of numbers themselves, as my watch is not a medical device, but I look to trends and drops. For that, watch gives a pretty good tendency. -
Normal range between 40-44 here. I’m 40. No idea if it’s good or bad but I mostly care about the trend and not the absolute numbers.
-
Same age, same ranges, same logic only look to trends when you have your baseline defined
-
@EdCaballer yeah, everyone is different. now my normal range is 34-44, i’m 41
-
Indeed some ranges exist depending on group age.
But we don’t need to be afraid if we are out of those ranges.
I guess we can find a lot of different sources with different ranges
At 36y, I am a bit below of groupe age range as well.
-
I’m 39 and range is 78-91. Seems to be higher than average. For me trend is working really well. After harder run it drops under 70 next night and climbs back after few days.
-
@v-sacre well, I’m 42 and i’m doubleing the HRV!! I don’t know if I have a super heart or I’m totaly waste
-
@Tieutieu no special events lately that explain this, and as of 2 days ago my HRV is back to “normal” range - 17-25.
Like others have said I’m mostly interested in changes and trends not absolute numbers, but can’t work this spiking event out.
I started wearing my old fenix 6 pro to see how they lined up and that is just too confusing!
I also experience drop off in metrics re alcohol, poor sleep, illness etc.
Anyway, thanks for responding -
I am 33 and my HRV is between 39-46. I think it seems a little low. Other watches says normal HRV is between 58 - 70
-
My normal range is 94-104, I’m 55
-
@Iggge Could you please be more specific, the “other watches” you wear that you measure your HRV with?
-
@Ars-Vitae
Samsung watch 6/7 primary -
@Iggge Ok, thanks
