Inaccuracies saving pool training

Two questions
- In pool training, the distance that appears on the watch is not the same as the distance saved in the application (in my case, the RACE watch Android application)
- The app shows different swimming styles (breaststroke, backstroke) how exactly does the watch or the app recognize the differences
