Heart value and wrist bone pain
-
Thanks , I’m not alone !
I’m doing a 35 km trail running this morning, I’ll see what happens during the effort. If this is inconvenient, I will request a return! comfort is essential in my eyes. -
I ran my trail this morning. The interface is fantastic, easy to use, precise. No need for more for my use. On the other hand, what discomfort! I touched the bracelet adjustment 4 times) the bone area of my wrist is very red and irritated. I had to put an energy bar paper so that the horn no longer rubs on the bone. This is clearly a design failure! I’m hesitant to return it because it’s really a great tool but I can’t see myself running 100km with the inflammation it creates on my wrist bone.

@Matthieu_45 maybe the Race and especially the Race S are a better fit? If you don’t need the battery, that might be a choice.
Although it won’t help: I have no real.isauea with the watch and it is quite comfortable, but I would nevertheless never consider to wear it 24/7 -
@Matthieu_45 I had the same problem ONLY when i had it too tight. I removed “one hole” and its perfect, no red skin, wearing it 24/7, remove only when takes shower or clean watch after training.

Yes, it’s when you squeeze the bracelet a little too hard. But in my case, it is the horn of the case that irritates the bone area and generates pain very quickly. Yesterday afternoon, I tried it on the bike, it’s even worse with the vibrations of the road

Well, the watch goes back to the dealer. Impossible to wear this vertical comfortably… I can’t wear it for more than 4 hours without having a lot of pain. Too bad because it looks very accomplished.

@Matthieu_45
Whats Your wrist size? I got thin and vertical is very comfortable for me. I never had aproblem with “case” of vertical, or sharp edges. Maybe You got bigger wrist and thats why. So sad Your watch goes back to dealer, its great one! -
@Tami999 I think the issue is whether or not you have a protruding ulna bone at the wrist. I have thin wrists and a large ulna bump and experience the same issues as OP and others. The downward angle of the lugs is the problem and Suunto seems to have made the angle less severe on the Race and Race S.
I’ve considered filing down the edges of the lugs. Anyone have experience shaping titanium?

@Matthieu_45 Do you meen the pin to attach the wristband to each other with “the horn”? If yes maybe try a wristband without it or a longer one.
I had problems with the standard silicone wristband of my S9PP Titanium. Getting red itchy skin when wearing it to long on the same side.
Swapped the wristband now with a more breathable version and the problems are gone. -
My wrist measures 18.5 cm. If I use too much, the watch moves less, but I have a circular trace and general discomfort (and the horn always rubs), I don’t see myself classifying this part! This is a new watch and will void the warranty. I also tried a nylon strap, but that doesn’t change anything since the problem is with the holster. The horns are too low and bite into the skin and bone of the wrist.
I have never encountered a problem with Apple and Garmin. This is a real shame because I love the look of the vertival and the features suit me perfectly (apart from the OHR but with a belt, this is corrected)
