Vertical becomes unresponsive and stops recording during activity

Hi, my Vertical (latest fw V2.37.34) malfunctioned today during activity. I was cycling and had a navigation route loaded. During the activity, from the (pull up) menu on the map screen I changed from navigating a route to breadcrumb. So far all good. When I arrived to mid journey destination I wanted to manually pause the activity. At that point the watch became (partially) unresponsive. Would react to start/pause button (but just for the data shown on screen and as it would become clear later, not recording the activity anymore) but not to stop/option/multisport commands - would just beep and nothing would happen. During the reminding activity watch would beep/light-up upon each 10km autolap but would not show the autolap screen. When I arrived to my final destination the watch would show complete track on the map screen. As it was totally unresponsive to any stop command I reset it with long upper button press. After the watch restarted it synced with the app. In the synced activity only the first 51km were shown (midpoint - when I noticed the unresponsiveness) the remaining 32km (which were shown and recorded on the activity data screens) were lost. Upon reset I sent the logs to Suunto (20:29 CET).
