Brand new ocean.

Hi guys and girls. I’ve just received my new ocean and upto now it has spent the last 20hrs doing a software update. It just keeps losing connection and freezing. Is there a way to get this done cause as a new customer to Suunto I’m not yet impressed.

@simon-whittaker Should not happen but we need phone type and what version of Suunto App on the phone? Do you have a strong cellular or preferably WiFi connection on the phone?

@simon-whittaker There are phones where you need to make sure that the Suunto app has permission to run all the time, sometimes phone companies close apps that run in the background to save battery

Check Bluetooth and wi-fi connections with phone and watch, then check your phone permissions. If necessary disable data and power savings.
