track back feature ?

Hi,
I currently own a Suunto Ambit 3 peak and considering upgrading to Suunto Race S…. can someone please clarify if the Race S has a track back option similar to Amibt 3?
Reviewing the Race user manual I can only see ‘find back’ option which will point you in the direction to your starting point however does not track back the original route, when mountaineering or trekking through complex terrain ‘find back’ is pretty pointless in my opinion.
I was thinking can the breadcrumb of an active activity be used to safely track back your route to the starting point?
