Fusedalti Query
-
Headed out for a run today and before starting the activity I checked what my vertical had as the current altitude, which was around 50ft above sea level. That was about right.
Started the run maybe a couple of mins after acquiring a gps lock.
Ran an out and back (roughly 50mins) along the coast with very little elevation change.
After finishing and syncing to the app I noticed the elevation graph had me starting at an altitude of -120ft (below sea level). Thought that was odd given before the activity the altitude read ~50ft above sea level.
It looks like Fusedalti then kicked in after around ~22mins and corrected the altimeter to the correct altitude, however my understanding is the correction should also update the first part of the activity too - so in my case, the first 22mins where it reported as being below sea level (-120ft)?
Am I understanding that’s how the Fusedalti feature should work? If so, why would it not have corrected the first part of the run if it was activated?
