need suunto have a “Resume later” option

as a suunto race s user,basically satisfied about race s,but i need" resume later "option like garmin when i have multi day hiking.can close gps to save battery and record the complete road map.

I think it’s unnecessary and basically pointless. The activity ends, it’s analyzed by various algorithms, regeneration, sleep, etc. In my opinion, instead of “resume later”, just make a simple option in the Suunto App that would simply create one merged, additional activity (time, distance, elevation gain, calories, etc.) from daily activities without interfering with the recorded partial activities that are used for all analyses.
