Size of maps

I note a very large disparity in the size of the downloadable maps
For example, I want to download all maps useful for the UTMB : so I have to download :
- Rhône-Alpes : 860Mo
- Aosta Valley : only 80Mo
- Switzerland : 1Go
However, I am only interested in a very small part of Switzerland. I understand that I can’t download only the desired part, but at least if the country was divided into 4 regions, it would be more convenient for downloading.
