Targets need to function smarter

Obviously this isn’t going to be fixed any more on this disocontinued model but please tell me that these have been worked on the newer generation models.
Scenario 1:
You set up a target distance for the workout, let’s say 5000 m. You run it on track and because doesn’t have dedicated track sports mode, the measured distance will be a bit higher. What happens when you’re on the final stretch is that the watch congratulates you for 100% distance and as you cross the finish line, the notification is still there and you cannot stop the activity. Highly annoying when you’re trying to run a time trial! Or any other case, too. You should be able to pause activity at any times.
Scenario 2:
You set up an interval training session. Let’s say you set the target heart rate zone for it to be zone 4. You go on your merry way and start the activity. What happens upon completion of first interval (or any to follow) as you are on your recovery part? The watch is telling you to speed up!? Pardon my French but WTF? Did anyone not test this functionality? On that note, I don’t think there should be notifications to speed up on going uphill or to slow down on descents…
This doesn’t happen on newer firmware, right? Right?!

@jussim indeed both scenario happened on my Race S with latest firmware. It’s a shame that my cheaper samsung galaxy watch 4 classic “smarter” than race s in several way.

@Arie-Rahmadi It is annoying, isn’t it? A relatively minor thing but it still manages to grind one’s gears.
