What sport mode is missing from our watches in your opinion?

+1 for Rucking and Thru Hiking/Fast Packing
-
@Egika Apologies… looked relevant to me in the way the OP was proposing the discussion to go. Will post something in the lines of my suggestion separately.

+1 for E-Bike
-
- Fast hiking/walking (when walk/hike fast and run in some places)
- e-bike
- e-MTB
- Core training/Multiple exercises (when you do exercises like abs/push-ups/exercises with rubbers/lunges/some strength… all in the same training) typical exercises for runners. Now I’m using using “circuit training”, but it is not really circuit training. Exercises that you do using a mat.
-
Thru-hiking and some changes in hiking and molmountaineering profile
-
extra display with compass when gpx route is loaded
-
extra display with breadcrumb when map is turned on — one quick click and you can change between map and breadcrumb (longer battery life)
-
contour lines for 500m - 1 or 2km
-
autopause for slower activities (currently only works ok with faster sports)
-
different function for bottom button (lap isn’t needed), save location, quick map or compass view, or elevation profile — something like a pinned widget in watch mode
-
for thru hiking - option only in SuuntoApp: merge daily stages (distance, ascent/descent, calories, steps etc.) and create an additional record for the whole route without affecting those daily activities that are used to calculate fitness, recovery, etc. just for sharing, to the trail summary, for exporting to apps like Relieve.

I agree with what @maszop said.

Track Running Like Garmin and COROS where you can choose the Lane and get very accurate gps Tracks and distances for Track Running.
Then Like some others said, Suunto + Features native for Sports Mode , Like Climb for trailrunning, manual Lap for Running etc.
Maybe more Pages for the Sport modes -

Yep. I’d take this over any new sport mode, as it would add so much value and utility to the existing sport modes.

Maybe more Pages for the Sport modesThose are my top ones as well
DC Rainmaker has reiterated the need for Suunto to integrate more of the plus features natively.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
Good morning - I received a recommendation from one of the members here on the forum, so the guy I’m trying to help transferred a log from the app right at the end of the workout, we’ll wait patiently -

I second that, for me it would be ‘calisthenics’ or something similar. I use ‘circuit training’ and then in SA I change sport to ‘outdoor gym’. SA then always congratulates me with ‘first circuit training this year’ My routine is dips, chin ups, pull ups, push ups, knee raises, jump squats.

me too!

@Likarnik same here. I use “strength” but a “Calisthenics” mode would be great.
-
I wish that Snorkeling mode would get greater depth, since 10m is not enough (to small depth)… like to where it is waterproof (100m)
-
Indoor StepMill (Stairmaster), ideally with a way to track ascend/climb/steps automatically.
-
It is not time to add new sports, but to update the current ones to be better.
When we think suunto, we expect for a pro sport watch.
For example, in Suunto Ocean the dive mode needs some small fixies, better organization of the screen layout to not hide important information (an example, impossible to have tank pressure and ceiling info at the same time) and some new features like GF99 and SurGF.
Tks

@diogao13 how come you know what time is and for what ? I asked a question please stick to the subject.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos look at above an almost all comments request updates and new features for the current sports than new ones, like I wrote. No one has deserved that kind of reply.
Hear the community and Suunto goes beyond…
If the topic is absolutely strict, I think a new hopscotch mode would be great.
-
@diogao13 It is good discussion style to stick to the topic.
Otherwise I will post “make trithalon customizable” in every thread that is asking for anything to improve. Because for me this is essential and to be solved before anything else.
Would that be helpful for the individual threads?
-
@diogao13 I understand well that people want more features added to the current sport modes that exist.
However this thread is about the sport modes that people are missing as a form of feedback from the community
When I have to give back my report of what the community asked about missing sport modes (sports), I don’t wont to go through clutter of debating on what Suunto should do.
In other words I would prefer a dynamic poll option that this forum does not yet support.
I hope it’s clear.
