Lactate Threshold estimate
-
@mickywickyftw Race and Race S, I think
-
It was actually a bugfix for Suunto Race, LT estimations weren’t populated in watch if you used HR belt in your runs, Vertical didn’t have this issue.
-
@herlas yup I get them in Vertical on the first runs but still cannot get them in the Race (even after the latest fw)
-
Just to update the post, today after a tempo run I got the estimations (this was ~8th run) so all good. And they are quite close to my real performance. Kudos Suunto!
-
@EzioAuditore glad to read this I’m still don’t have them but I mostly do zone2
I will continue to wait should appear at a moment of time -
@Josaiplu The tempo today was very ‘exhausting’ due to vaccination I had in the morning so I feel like ‘sh*t’ but still went to run The HR was Z4-Z5 (same run was Z2-Z3 in the past runs - so I am quite exhausted today and the HR was quite high). Add to this the hot and humidity so it was perfect to keep my HR in the top most zones - maybe this helped to get the estimation.
-
Is there any way to see your lactate treshold in suunto app or just on the watch? Today I got an estimate in the watch, but I cannot find it in the app.
-
@Matija-S it’s a watch feature, not in the app.
-
@Matija-S How much runs you did?
-
-
@GiPFELKiND 7 runs, and after the 7th it showed the numbers. All if them with polar HRM belt
-
@isazi I know, but it would be nice to track it over time same as VO2MAX. Everything else I think we can see in the app also.
-
@Matija-S the app may provider a better functionality later this year.
-
@isazi Does the Vertical calculate an lt threshold? I’ve never seen one other than Vo2max after my runs.
-
@seanvk the same Here … No official Statement from SUUNTO. It doesnt work Here! Never since Release from Race, race s and Software update from the Vertical. Its a big joke
-
@seanvk no the Vertical does not. But, and I cannot say more than this, a BIG new feature will come soon to the app (not the watch, the Suunto App) that is relevant for aerobic/anaerobic threshold and proper effort categorization.

Yes please!
