But we need some info, even if its little, to keep the hope for a big update that all of us can say “Whoooaaaaa, Suunto nailed it”
Can we have some crumbles to lower anxiety before the update?? -
@cosmecosta
Smart battery, S9 watchface, silent alarm, bug fixes and improvement performance.
-
Silent alarm!!! OMG this resolves the most bloody annoying thing about my watch!
-
Maps like F5x, nfc payments (implemented by software, it’s magic !), Shimano Di2 handle, gopro hero 7 compatibility for nicest selfie, possibility to call a virtual assistant like “ok google” but “ok suunto, how far is the finish line?”…and counting…
-
@Saketo-Nemo
Santa Claus is the December 25…
Or buy a F5x+… -
I was jocking
F5X stuff is why I don’t have a Garmin. Too much features, too much unstable, too much unreliable. Suunto is near to my idea of perfect sport watch. A little bit and here we are ! Come on Suunto’s guys, surprise us! -
@Mi_chael…and…I will get my daily steps in the tennis move?
-
@akoshajas with Farmin watch yes
-
@SlaSh it means?🧐
-
@akoshajas soon with Suunto as well.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos is coming with the next Spartan next firmware update?
-
@akoshajas yup as s9 already has it afaik
-
@Andriy-Zarteskyy if you use a SSU I’m afraid you will not be able to feel it…
-
@mbergi I am using SST
-
And BTW there is nothing to feel yet… hope the update comes soon
-
@Andriy-Zarteskyy nobody knows…
-
@mbergi suunto knows
-
Detected on last update, my two SSTs have an issue with battery indication. You could check on every moment: if it shows you got 70% battery and you connect it to be charged, that percentage changes immediately to any other number (40%), so if your watch shows 40% and you think you have enough battery for a short workout, you could be wrong and your watch will die during the workout because it was really on 15-20%. So definitely, SST -at least- shows a random battery state while not charging, and it’s just updated when you connect it to a power source.
So this forces users to have undesired battery drops, and to make charges when it could be not necessary, stressing the battery and reducing its life.
I’m starting to see battery life is shortening by the time, and in any moment this could be untenable, so I wish Suunto take note of this and:
1- Solve this through firmware upgrades ASAP (but after more than 6 months this pretends to be a dream)
2- Suunto extends the battery warranty for SSTs as far as we -users- can’t take the required cares to our watches’ batteries. -
@ColdBeer why don’t you write to them to get a replacement if you think that the battery is degraded …
