Cycling (Power) activity ended/crashed after power meter's low battery warning
-
Hi,
My Suunto 9 abruptly ended recording a Cycling (power) activity during a ride.
I was able to trace the end/crash of the activity to the moment a low battery warning was sent from my Garmin RS200 power meter.
Thankfully, I was recording the activity with a Garmin bike computer too and was able to match the the timestamp of the low battery warning to the Suunto 9 activity end time by inspecting both FIT files.
I did not notice my Suunto 9 had stopped recording after an hour or so. The watch was showing the time, not sure if it rebooted or just stopped the activity, and I was able to start recording another Cycling (power) activity right away.
I lost ~1h of data on my Suunto 9 but my Garming bike computer recorded the whole activity.
I had HR, speed, power/cadence sensors all connected.
Not sure if this is a bug, and if so if it will be fixed. Reporting just in case somebody experienced something similar.
Cheers!
