SOFTWARE UPDATE 2.35.34 Q2
-
New (minor) BUG found:
I have verified that in the snorkel sport mode, the stop/pause menu that is displayed is the old one, not the new one.
(In the rest of the sport modes that I have tried, the function is correct).
Please someone report it. Thank you.

After this update I miss the posibility of changing the stats (steps/calories/sunset/moon phase/ etc) on my watchface just by tapping, not by configuring the “complications”
Yes, and I think this is a setback

Tested cliimb guidance with MTB ride (RACE). Doesn’t work at all! No notifications, no data for climbs/descents on elevation screen, neither can zoom in /out. Tested on my previous recorded route, not a new created one! And yes, you CAN’T enter pause menu (upper button) from map and elevation screen! That’s the case when following route, haven’t tested this with normal exercise recording!
check, that you have the climb view in the route planning view in the app (maybe update the app). If still an issue, maybe open a separate thread to get this sorted for you

reproduced and reported. -
@suntd I also agree, it’s a big regression…
-
@duffman19 it would be great if notifications could be configurable. Because I too live in a flat area and I don’t have any red or green sections nearby. But if I do a navigation with only orange and light blue sections, it could be great to still have notifications

+1 (it is not possible to choose everything either)
-
@isazi I have also lost my previous watch face and possibility to change information by tapping
This is how my watch face used to look, with compass, sunrise and sunset information. When tapping on the two displays above and below the hour, they used to change and provide different information, steps, battery status, date etc…
Now the new watch face doesn’t have the compass anymore and the displays are fixed, it looks much more basic or spartan, which is in some ways a step back.

How can I lock the screen in time mode? I just can’t find it.
-
The new update is great! It looks very good. Thank you Suunto!
I just miss the battery status info when there is a pause.
And what does the “Sport mode specific display settings” mean? -

Can somebody explain, what following improvement is:
Running estimate and lactate with HR belt
At least on the Race, you needed to use wrist HR to get race time predictions and lactate threshold estimate, which are accessible from the progress widget. Now this weekend also with HR belt.
After the latest update you can even use an external HR sensor and get running estimate and lactate threshold. You`ll find the numbers if you scroll down to the progress widget.

SuuntoPlus feature bug report:
# First item in SuuntoPlus list does not render its state.
Steps to reproduce:
- While starting new activity go to SuuntoPlus and check first item in list (in my case “Burner”).
- Go back and see that item is successfully enabled.
- Go to SuuntoPlus list again and see that first item IS NOT selected.
- If you enable first item again in this state you are actually disabling it.
- If you scroll down and back up you see first item in correct state.
I would say its just kind of list refresh issue
# SuuntoPlus GUIDE not remembered
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to SuuntoPlus list and enable your GUIDE
- Start and finish your activity
- Next time you start same activity your setting is not remembered and you have to enable GUIDE again
May be this is expected behaviour but I personally would expect it to be remembered as everything else in this list. Otherwise I have to go all the way down to enable it on every (custom) activity start.
ANYWAY GOOD JOB WITH UPDATE GUYS!
BTW: Is this the right place to report bugs? Or you have something more “ticket oriented”?

@suntd This is really annoying. Just after the update the watch showed not my selected watchface. After changeing it to the watchface I usually use - the one with sunrise / sunset and dawn times in the ring I found I can’t circle through the stats anymore.
You still can open the “widget” selected by “complications” when touching and holding it - e.g. sunset.
But it is a huge drawback. Before I could switch between steps, calories, moon phase, time zone, date, altitude, batterie.
No nothing circles.
I don’t need the long touch function - it just sucks and I don’t need the complications function - it just makes it complicated @isazi and @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos could you please communicate that! -
@Pavlas
You can now see battery % by holding the lower button to enter the “control panel” (in the 9PP at least). Which, in my view, is better than needing to pause the watch.
But I assume - haven’t checked - that you still can’t add battery as a data field. I ask for this in every survey. -
@steoreggia yeah it is really annoying! Don’t know why they f**ked it up so much.
-
@MKPotts You’re right. I forgot about that option. Thank you
-
@Milan-Slezák 1) is known and reported already, 2) may be by design, as apps are remembered but guides should be not as I remember.
-
@steoreggia you can create your favorite watchface with complications, juyst go to “Customize” in the control panel and work from there.
-
First, I LOVE Suunto!
Second: Is it a way to remove the blue ring? If not, why? Empty field should mean empty, right?
Third: Is this a bug (see picture two) Seconds is gone (after a while).

@Stoke80, on 9PP, if you long press the bottom button, the watch will show up some option and there you can find the locking option.
If you have already defined the action related to the bottom button long pressing, you can change that by means of the control panel, inside the personalization command.
