Suunto wristband

@Tami999 As you I have the Canyon (never used), the lime (used from day one (two months ago) and since two days I’m using the the white one with my SV Ti, these bands are very nice. The original one, the Canyon, look thinner and less robust than the Athletic 5 ones.
-
@Tami999 the original Vertical bands (the ones you get with the watch) and these Suunto branded ones are different technology and design.

Power Blue and Power Orange now available for sale https://www.suunto.com/en-nl/Products/Straps/suunto-22mm-athletic-6-silicone-strap/suunto-22mm-athletic-6-silicone-strap-power-blue-sm/

Sadly not yet in the French Suunto web shop…
And no Race S also… -
@Mi_chael Yesterday it was displayed but not available yet. This morning it’s not visible anymore.
Also : does we know if the SR straps will be sold someday ? It’s more confortable than my original SV strap. But I never saw it on sale… -

Have also not seen them yet.
Regarding comfort and silicone straps: I like these ones best as they are soft and the most flexible available: https://www.suunto.com/de-de/Produkte/Armbander/suunto-22mm-athletic-5-silicone--strap/suunto-22mm-athletic-5-silicone-strap-lemon-yellow-sm/
Better than the standard SV or SR straps. -
@Egika I’ve wanted one for ages but it’s a ludicrous amount of money for a watch strap that I just couldn’t justify, it’s my birthday this Saturday so I’ve been leaving the below page open on my laptop for weeks now
Hopefully my wife took the hint & got me a white one -
@Egika I have 2 of those. I agree about the confort but for my wrist size, I feel it either a bit too tight or a bit too loose. I have tried the SV strap of a friend on my SV and it felt very good

Better than the standard SV or SR straps.Yup I agree. Iits more soft than standard SV one. Sadly there’s no Orange with white label. I dont like this Lava Red. New Athletic 6 is orange but too bad its with fading to purple + with powder. Not my style :P.

Same here! I cant find perfect size in this one. Sometimes its too tight and sometimes too loose. I just need to wear it higher or lower compared to standard SV one.

@Tami999 there is orange with white label.
It just says “Mammut” on it -
@Egika but this one is quite expensive…but that’s fair enought, you get a free watch when you buy it

It just says “Mammut” on itYes I know about it, and love it. I’ve been searching for this strap to be sold separately since I already have Vertical but with no results. And i dont need second watch Wosh to have it. Athletic 5 yellow/white is muvh more comfortable (mammut seems like same type) but orange is my fav.
-
@Tami999 just get it with the watch and sell the watch with you current strap

Yeah I thought about it but dont want to freeze my money and play in selling this
-
@fluca I second that…I love the logical and uncomplicated but useful SR feature set, that’s one reason I moved away from Garmin Forerunners. For my use, SR has almost everything I need and very little that I don’t.
-
So the wife came good & got me a white Athletic 5 strap however there aren’t as many adjustment holes as the original strap so as @Tieutieu found it’s either a little too loose or a little too tight for me.
Can anyone who has one advise whether it ‘stretches’ a bit over time if I continue to wear it in the too tight hole or will my hand fall off due to restricted blood flow ?
-
@Mattg576 they probably stretch a bit with time, I would actually try to wear it comfortably during the day, and tighter during activity, and see how it goes
-
@Mattg576 Only way is loose strap + get it higher or tight and wear it lower. :D.
I noticed that Athletic 5 is much softer for skin than original SV, even over time, but SV original one is much easier to find good spot on hand. -
@Mattg576
I’ve used an Athletic 5 strap for about 5 months and it doesn’t seem to have stretched. Like you, I find it’s either a bit loose or a bit tight. I wear it in the tighter hole because I don’t like the watch bouncing around and don’t notice after a short while.
The best Suunto strap I’ve had for comfort, hole spacing and stretch was the Athletic 1 that came with the 9 Peak. But it’s only available in relatively subtle colours, pink excepted.
