      Hi all,

Just purchased a Suunto 5 Peak and noticed the following issue with the step counter, whenever the Suunto is “active” and the backlight is on, the step counter works perfectly. However, when the watch goes into inactive mode after a few seconds, it stops counting the steps. If I press a button and activate it, it starts counting correctly again. I was not able to find any thread with a similar issue before, so would appreciate if anyone had experienced the same issue.

      My settings are :
      Software version: 2.23.20
      Backlight Standy: On
      Backlight Raise to wake: Off
      Power saving: Off

Thanks in advance for any help!

@ZYOVI are you sure steps are not accounted for, and it is not simply a delay in showing them? When the watch is inactive the screen is only updated every minute or so.

@isazi 100% sure as I tested it by walking 20 steps without backlight, wait for a minute to see if the steps show and then walk 20 steps with blacklight and then they show up immediately.
