Suunto Vertical: how is your experience? (bugs aside)

Hello suunto community!

Lately, my S9PP, which is my main and only watch since it came out, is starting to feel limiting for my long training sessions in the Alps. The battery is really right. Sometimes the UI is slow, but after every update, the problem goes away.

I was starting to consider seriously the Suunto Vertical Solar as a serious upgrade mainly for battery life, maps and because I’m seasoning the bigger screen.

Two questions:
How is your experience as a tool?
In the long term, how does the battery hold up?
