      Hello,

In the past, I’ve had challenges with downloading a map to my Suunto Vertical. I did the reset options, waited a very long time for the blue progress bar to move, kept it close to the router, used 2.4 and 5 ghz wifi connections, but still, I had no luck. The only thing that worked for me, was using a hotspot. At the time, I had a Macbook. I created a hotspot with the MacBook, connected my Suunto App to that hotspot, continued with the map-download process, and immediately noticed a difference and was able to watch the blue progress bar progress and eventually download the map.

At the moment, I’m not able to use a hotspot for downloading a new map. Has anyone found a way to successfully download a map to the watch?

@smessina does your watch is properly connected to your network ?

        Perhaps you can look here.

@Brad_Olwin said in Can't connect to wifi or hotspot:
If you have comma or dash , or - or other characters the WiFi will not connect. Known but don’t know when or if it will be changed.

I personnally never had any issue with map downloading.
