SOFTWARE UPDATE 2.33.12 - Q1 2024
-
-
I’m still using the watchface that was introduced with the race : did update solved the daily goals notifications that were not displayed ? (Didn’t reached them today…)
-
-
@Tieutieu Yes seems to be solved TSS etc. About the CTL TSB etc. We will see tomorrow
-
@Tieutieu got the daily notifications today
-
Resources bars are missing from the graph. -

2 and 3 are really ugly (My personal opinion!) and 1 is a little bit to basic (right sight not changeable).
-
So no battery drain or whr measurements issues fixed?
-
@thailon Ohr measurement should be solved…
-
I was wrong, they just appeared, as for all graphs the history gets missing after the update but after a couple of hours there are enough data to get drawn.
-
@thailon there was no battery drain acknowledged that I am aware of.
-
Maybe it’s too early to say but it looks like CTL etc synchronisation works well for me.
After midnight all the metrics are still aligned.
-
@rooldaa same for me!
-
For me it’s a dissapointing update.
- High contrast map, (in my case) goes to Dark mode, It’s useless without details, except roads. Light mode is much more usefull…and again…on the handlebar with MTB or cycling it’s dimmed again after some time. Also other data fields. No matter if screen is set to Always on. For God sake Suunto. You make cyclig dangerous when you need to press or rotate crown constantly to see map and other data!!!
- Sleep tracking improvement is still disaster, even worse.
- OHR improvements does nothing. Eratic spikes with comute walking up to 130 bmp.
- New Watch faces are made for kindergarten homework?
- No Vo2 max after a 30 min walk (HR zone Z1, Z2).
These are briefly my observations after a day of use with new fw and my personal opinion!

This made my day …
I miss a watchface on the Vertical with the barometric pressure as complication. On my S9PP there is at least one with this information.
As outdoor watch, which I use often without recording an activity on a walk, there should be a watch face with time, barometric pressure, altitude and sunset. Choosable as shown complications.
-
@ppresing It’s funny because my experience is totally different with the Vertical so it’s probably a very subjective matter. The sleep tracking is spot on and the OHR seems to be more stable since the update (could a placebo:)).
Regarding the usage on the bike - and all other similar cases, that’s one of the reasons I don’t want an AMOLED display yet. -
@ppresing by the way I don’t understand that you want a vo2 max value from the 30 minute walk. I mean - are you sure you know what the value represents (and what doesn’t)?
-
@Zdeněk-Hruška Then manuals should point exact on Running based activity with specific hr zones used. Not walking included as they say! When Vo2 max is registered on the watch, you’ll get completely different and more real Calorie consumption as without it!
-
@Zdeněk-Hruška Screen illumination should be customizable for every activity type! No big deal. Always on/off switch for dysplay in pretraining mode wouldn’t be so difficult?
-
@ppresing ok, so maybe your one walk just didn’t meet some conditions to calculate the number. Could be a bug but I would wait for more activities being you. If there was a vo2 max value calculated based on 30 minute walk I wouldn’t take it too seriously anyway
