Suunto Vertical Solar widgets missing after update
-
@freeheeler thanks for the quick + thorough response! and fack … I was afraid of that. I saw the vertical menu and preferred it the other way
thanks again

@Mardee-Saxton
you’ll get used to it and soon forget how it was before
seriously, I find it more streamlined -
@freeheeler ok cool … guess it helps that I’m still getting used to the watch and am not super attached to anything yet.
If you’re up for it, I have more questions. I had the Spartan before this for 5y, so there are some metrics I’m not familiar with. (Totally understand if you’d prefer not to waste time answering Qs for some random person online.)

@Mardee-Saxton
let’s see
most of the stuff is explained in SA and if it’s about CTL (and stuff) I am very sure my explanation isn’t better than the one from SA -
@freeheeler ok… what’s SA
and CLT …
-
@Mardee-Saxton
you have tooltips in Suunto App … SA
-
@sartoric thanks!

@Mardee-Saxton
a lot of answers can be found within the Suunto Vertical section or even with searching for keywords. if you have questions, just let us know. everyone of us knows something between a little bit and a lot, hence we can help if anything is unclear -
@Mardee-Saxton Trust me man, I was a bit mad after update, preferred horizontal menu but as we know Suunto watchess are laggy, and swipe -> or <- few times takes all day. Now in veritcal menu (down) we got list that a bit “mask” the lag. Its more comfortable after some time. On right I got calories burn/steps, on upper button (hold) i got , do not disturb mode" which i turn ON when go sleep. On down i got things in order i use most, weather, map, control panel etc. Its just quicker to get things i want than in previous update.
Give Yourself some time, and You’ll never want to go back to old menu mode.

@Tami999 this is super helpful! Thanks for taking the time to reach out. I will try your setup … it makes the most sense to me at the moment and I was having a hard time deciding.
