What do you expect from the next update?

@gerasimos Yeah, but I donât mean the lock in watch mode. I mean the lock during activity, when I pause the activity.
Lock in watch mode is a very popular topic here -

I donât know if itâs been mentioned before. But I really miss the button lock when I pause. I donât understand why this option has disappeared.
Would you use a lock function if you had a resume later option? Struggling to wrap my head around a use case for both

@Pavlas A âResume Laterâ function would be more useful here in my opinion.
Hi,
I fully agree for this feature!!
I think that is incredible that Suunto competitors have this feature on cheaper watches that Suunto, and Suunto not.
-
My thought about how Iâd like âresume laterâ :
- finish an activity
- go to the diary, select activity you want to resume.
If it is âeasyâ to do, Iâll take that even if I still donât really now when I would use it (only few times a year potentially).
Maybe Iâd rather have âeditâ functions in SA :
- merging activities
- cropping activities

Both would be OK for me. Whatever is easier for Suunto

Sounds good! Actually, Iâm pretty sure that on Garmin watches you do not have to go to the diary, but only toggle the command for a new activity: thus, since the watch âremembersâ that you have not close the last activity, you are directly âlinkedâ to that one to choose to restart, save or delete it.
If it is âeasyâ to do, Iâll take that even if I still donât really now when I would use it (only few times a year potentially).
I agree with you on the real application of the command but, in case of, what about the comfort of not have to check constantly if the activity accidentally has restarted?
-
@MatĂșĆĄ Thatâs how it works on Garminâs and IMHO itâs a good design
-
my wishes:
- sleep graph
- data field on map
- active wake-up time on control panel
- fix the TSS/CTL bug not up to date on the watch
- more watch face
- weather forecast for the next 3 days
for the rest, what a great watch
-
@yome77 yes these are the most important things that could be better in my opinion, if I can add one I would like to have the full text of a WhatsApp message to read on the watch, instead of a part of it now
-
Better maps. Really need to show heights.
-
@Iggge What do you mean? Maps have contour lines.
-
I would love to see an extension of Suunto Coach. I think training plans (e.g. for a half marathon) that adapt to sleep, stress levels, etc. would be useful!
-
@Brad_Olwin something like that I guess.
Iâd like to have that also
(Extract from French ign map, just as example) -
@Felix-0 I agree. But as far as I know stress levels are not measured on SV. At least it does not show anything on the resources or anywhere else.
-
Iâd like it if a different map base could be selected. Maybe the great mapy.cz. But thatâs probably utopian
-
@Pavlas Its not the problem of the map base, the one used by Suunto (openStreetMap) can provide the lines, but it needs to be implemented by Suunto.
Also, mapy.cz use OpenStreetMap too (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Mapy.cz)âŠsoooooooo, your utopian wish is already granted ? -
@fluca, Iâm with you!
-
-
@Pavlas ThatâsâŠvery weird of them, the goal of opensource mapping is that everyone contributes to the mapâŠwhy would they not share their map data with OSM ?
