Minimal charging cable / adapter
-
I use the watch on multi-day hikes with overnight stays in a tent - the normal charging cable makes no sense. Is there a much shorter charging cable available somewhere?

@outdoorrama Not that I know of, but I don’t think it would be too complicated to shorten the cable yourself (since it’s only about charging the number of cables to deal with should be two…) to your desired lenght. In the past and for a similar application I shortened myself a USB-A data cable (many more cables). Looked terrible, but worked.
With a bit of tinkering and 3D printing one may also end up with a “single piece” charger
Wouldn’t that be great? -
@fv4500 I like

As long as there is no USB C plug, it is difficult, because in the picture the two contacts on every laptop would point downwards and on many chargers they would be vertical. The magnets are rather weak, so the watch has to lie on top.

Yes! I didn’t realized that, you have a fantastic eye! . Hope this terrible idea helps a bit @outdoorrama to find something useful for their hikes.
