2 and 3. Suunto does not rotate the watch face for changing hands, this has already been explained and is due to antenna and baro sensor placement. Simple answer. Unlikely to happen on current hardware.
Yes, i know i just make simple example.

3.1 Depends on where you purchased but should be returnable.
It was sarcasm/irony towards the user. I can’t return.

I have explained the pixel shift information counting this 3 times for you. I am also a field tester and familiar with the watch. It seems you do not accept my answer, I have answered your question.
I asked about “watch faces”, i.e. “wallpapers” on the main screen of the watch. The 1st time I received an answer about AOD, the 2nd time about training, and the 3rd time about the “locked” dial.
I look at my watch now - what’s going on with the red marked pixels - that was the question. Maybe we have language barriers or I’m translating incorrectly.
If nothing is happening with them (and this is what I understand so far), then it is a good idea to upload more custom “watch faces” or add a store with them, because, for example, I would set a gray background that would burn the pixels evenly - that’s how I understand and this is the principle of the OLED screens.
But its ok, i will write my question to support, maybe you are right - forum isnt good place to ask about this.

@karmazynowycukiereczek
These watch faces are not on all of the time. If you have AOD on it will revert to the time only where pixels are shifted quickly. This watch face only comes on when you raise your wrist, not enough time to burn in pixels.
The developers have done all they can to prevent pixel burn in. They learned from the first Suunto AMOLED watch, the Suunto 7, which had pixel burn in.On an AMOLED screen all black pixels are off as you know. My answer above is the same answer I have provided several times now.
The simple answer is the pixels are not lit for a sufficiently long time to cause burn in. That is what I have been told. The watch has not been out for long so we will see.

@karmazynowycukiereczek Please don’t get me wrong, it’s just really out of my curiosity and by no means I would like to offend you. But based on what have you decided to buy this watch? What were your criteria? Did you make any research in advance? You don’t really sound like a happy owner. I am not a fanboy (like you have called users here), but I find it strange when someone buys a product and then complains that it doesn’t have a certain functionality. There a ton of reviews and videos out there. Again, don’t get me wrong, but this is becoming a routine now with quite a lot of posts like this.

@karmazynowycukiereczek After using Garmin for 8 years, I switched to Suunto Race model. I used the watch for 4 weeks without any problems, then suddenly the screen turned black. but the clock was ticking. I brought my watch back to Suunto Cyprus. It’s been 4 weeks since they said they sent the watch to Finland. And they said they still don’t know when I will get it back. I mean, I buy a watch and pay 450 euros for it, but the support uses the watch more than me. That’s my initial thoughts on the suunto racing model. By the way, I am someone who runs outdoors or climbs challenging hills for approximately 15 hours a week. I’m currently doing these with my phone. What do you think about this?
-
@the_ultraman you already said that in other threads.
The only thing I would say is that you are really unlucky that your watch got out of service so quickly.
We are lots of users here to do as much sport as you do, with no issues.
Unfortunatly, buying a watch even high price doesn’t mean one can’t have issues.
Hope you’ll get your watch back soon ; I ve been using suunto support few years ago It was always quick and efficient (about 3 weeks to get back my watch) -
@Tieutieu I know I have written this before. I think it is very important for new buyers to know if they take a look at the forums in terms of customer satisfaction and transparency.
-
@the_ultraman you’re right of course. As I wrote, I also had to send my A3P to support few years ago (barometric sensor failure, twice - the weakness of A3P). It was always reactiv and fast to my mind, but nevertheless around 3 weeks if I remember well.
-
It is also true that those who don’t have issues or had a fast repair from support very probably are not even subscribed here
-
@sartoric but I am here (hardware issues twice, both times solved very fast)
… and I totally agree with your assessment -
@Tieutieu Why would someone who doesn’t have a problem bother with it on forums? My watch has been with the Suunto support team for 5 weeks. If they had remanufactured the watch it would have taken less time. They probably have plans to modify the watch and give me a much more advanced one

Because talking with people is nice? Because communities are good?

I doubt the watch faces will change, the development is not open for that.
Sad. Unfortunately, this means bad “degradation” of the OLED.
.
Not true, the display only mode shifts pixels so that pixel burn in is at a minimum. Second, the display either turns oft or goes to minimum display, which shifts pixels when your wrist is down.
@Brad_Olwin do I get it right, that pixel shifting is also applied on the exercise screens?

Yes in watch mode but in exercise mode AOD is limited to prevent burn in. I do not use AOD as I do not need it and I do not bike ride much. Without AOD the display goes off during exercise and in watch mode.
