Reset Vertical or Race

Hello everyone, one question. If I want to reset the Vertical or Race (no soft reset), do all maps have to be redownloaded? Since I downloaded the whole of Germany, this took a good day…

@Sascha-Domres question would be : why would you reset it ?
Never had to do so since SV launch. I had a few time got the watch stopped and started, but in this case there’s no need to download maps again.
I guess that a hard reset would certainly empty memory so you would have to download maps again.

@Tieutieu @Sascha-Domres Yes, a hard reset (factory) will clear maps from the watch memory and they would need to be re-downloaded.
I had to factory wipe the Vertical when I got it and had to reinstall the maps. Since then, only did a soft reset twice and the maps held in memory.

@Sascha-Domres If for some reason you need to reset try a restart first. I would ask here before you hard reset as in addition to maps all data on watch will be gone including custom sport modes.
TSS, CTL and other main workout data will sync back to the watch but not log data. -
