How to display altitude during the descent
-
I got the Suunto Vertical a few days ago.
I often do hiking in the mountains and tested the watch today. I’m wondering that I can’t find the display of total altitude meters in descent.
Of course for training the ascent is counting, but if I walk back from summit it’s important to know how many meters I’ve done in descent.
Lots of tours have ascent and decent meters altitude. I want to know actual amount of this, not at the end of the tour.
The Suunto-Plus CLIMB app does not display the descent.
Can somebody help me? Thanks. -
@MichlWe Set it in the sports mode customisation on the App.

Thank you, that helps.
I’m glad, so I can customize the display -
@MichlWe at your convenience you can also use the S+ Climb app which reports grade, ngp, vertical speed (m/h), and total vertical ascent/descent…
…oops sorry I’ve missed you already talked about it
