Suunto race 2.30.38 black screen problem

I have the same problem in version 2.30.38. Is there a solutions ? It resolved itself after a few hours. I hope I don’t experience it again

@the_ultraman can you specifiy more in detail what the actual problem is, and how under which conditions it occurs?
The Suunto Race can be set up in a way that when lowering the wrist, the screen goes black. This is to save energy. -

@Egika I have been using the device for about 2 months. I did my training as usual, and then I suddenly realized that the device was working, but there were only lines on the screen. As I said, the device was fixed after 3-4 hours. I think there is a software bug. In my research, the same things happened in previous versions.

What do you mean ?
Did you contact suunto support ? Maybe it’s a hw issue related to the display connector

Continue to Run without any watch.

I did have a concern on my vertical.
Anyway, I’m not buying directly from Suunto anymore.
It’s a piece of shit.

@zhang965 sad to say. This will probably be my first and last Suunto purchase. I have used Garmin for 8 years and have never encountered such bad customer dissatisfaction.

@the_ultraman did support offer to send you watch back and check if there is anything wrong with the hardware?
Edit: sorry I have seen on another thread that you sent the watch back to Suunto already via the Cyprus support.

@isazi Yes, I sent it back but it has been about 1 month. I still don’t have a watch. I talked to Suunto Cyprus today. There is no news, I don’t know when I will get my watch back.
