Software Update 2.30.32

@namela I love the new look of my S9PP too!
But…after the new updates it doesn’t track my sleep anymore. I have already restarted it (not hard reset, just restart). Am I missing something to set? I think I have to wait for some bug fix… -
just to report: yesterday I activated sleep… this morning at the alarm clock, 6.15am, I synced the watch and the total sleep time was wrong (20.29 - 01.45). At the second synchronization, towards 8.30am, things went fixed, that is the total sleep time was correct (20.29 - 6.15). Resources appear to be congruent with sleep quality. Actually the interval (20.29 - 6.15) is a little strange because I took a couple of naps at that time. I went to bed at about 22:30

Hi first of all loving the latest UI I have noticed a couple of things since the update last week;
-
I didnt get my weekly summay last night (is this due to not having completed 1 week since the update? is it still available?)
-
I havent been prompted to stand yet ( i do sit for my job but it would not suprise me if i stand up before it i get to the 2 hour limit)
but other than that I am really happy it feels like i have a new watch!!
-
-
@misu763 do you have 24/7 HR tracking enabled? This is a prerequisite of sleep tracking.
-
@Egika Thank you for the suggestion! It was off! I’ll try to switch it on and I’ll let you know if it works! (I didn’t think about it as I didn’t change this setting after the update)
Again, thank you! -
Hi guys. Where is possibility to measure blood oxygen saturation hidden now? In previous FW there was function for this. It was possible to perform this measurement manually anytime not only during sleep. Now it is gone?
I noticed that they switched buttons when alarm beeps. Upper is now for snooze and lower for stop. Before it was opposite. -
@AntoniusGaius it is among widgets. You can activate it through “customize” menu or from Suunto App.
-
@Александр-Даниленко Yeah Thank you.

I have the same issue on my Vertical since the update two and a half week ago:
- No message for daily goals reached
- No weekly summary shown on Sunday evening
- No stand up message (which I would not miss anyway, tbh).
Can maybe anyone confirm if this is already listed as a bug of the new software?
-
-
@Stoke80 not really to confirm, as I get the daily goals reached notifications…

I can confirm I get these and also the stand-up reminders. Don’t remember if I had a weekly summary yesterday. I don’t think so.
-
@taziden at least if the summary does not stay long enough until confirmed, it can be improved.

As said, I don’t get them. And it seems I am not the only one.
After doing some soft resets after the update, to see if that does the trick, I also did a hard reset (adviced by Sunnto support) last Monday. It didn’t help as well.
-
@AntoniusGaius I guess I should consider myself lucky because my CTL TSB and HRV numbers are same in both. I got saturdays TSS numbers day late but today I got them after run. I also got my weekly notification on sunday evening. I hope we get these patched soon and not have to wait 6 months to get new bigger patch that may or may not fix them.

@Francesco-Pagano, that is a great new functionality. Thanks for sharing! Running on a treadmill has always been a nightmare when it come to capturing the accurate distance.
@fv4500, after you finished the treadmill exercise, when the summary screen is displayed, scroll down until you see the distance you ran. Note that it says “edit the distance” (I guess, my locale is French ). Press the middle button to enter the actual distance.

Yep! Found it! Thanks you both! I was hoping the same edit can be done for crosstrainer sessions, but it seems you can’t. Which seems weird because you can actually edit the distance of a crosstrainer activity directly editing it in the Suunto App.

with great joy I have just discovered that there is a watch face that reports the barometric trend as in the old days of the good Vector
-
@Stoke80 I saw a “stand-up” notification once on my S9PP. There was written something like “You didn’t walk for 2 hours”.
However, I also would say that probably most of us don’t see this notification because of bad step count algorithm in the watch, which can count you some steps when you just move your hand while sitting…
For example, I saw this notification pretty often on my old Huawei Watch Fit, where step counting works perfectly.

Hello, thanks.
Just one question: now oHR, during an activity, is always active even if disabled in the options. Am I missing anything?i didn’t check myself, but if correct, it is then same bug as in SV latest FW .
https://forum.suunto.com/post/132349A follow-up to this, just discovered after a short evening run. If you do not want HR monitoring during an activity, simply turn off the HR belt sensor as well.
This is what I found too - because if I do this, the heart icon isn’t shown on the pre-start screen and no value is shown in the HR data field after starting.
But I checked and the sensor is still turned on after starting the activity. No HR data is recorded but it’ll still use battery power (which is why I turn it off on long races). To stop it doing this, you also have to turn off 24/7 HR tracking in the general settings, otherwise it overrides the activity settings and keeps the sensor on.

@Egika just to let you know that it works correctly now! The problem is solved! Thank you! I recently switched from an (old) Polar and I can say I am in love with my S9PP!
