I think many people in this forum have to work with their attitude. Life is a flow without a finish and it’s the same with everything else in life. There’s always a development in life and that applies to suunto watches too. There’s nothing perfect in life and if you’re waiting all the time for the perfect or something that is finished you’re wasting you time. What are you looking forward to when you don’t have something to look forward to?

@Stefan-Kersting I think that you’re missing the point. I feel that the common rant here is more about the products lacking the quality they should have when they hit the shelves and not that they don’t have X or Y.

I just hope it’s a phase in Suunto’s existence and there’s just some reorganisation and catching up needed and that’s the reason why things go the way they go.

I see no common rant, just 1-2 people having some issues with their lifes (and maybe their watches as well…)

In the new update, suunto solves almost most of the problems with Vertical. Perhaps 100% of the recognized problems.

@Stefan-Kersting no problem for me… I own a S9P and I don’t expect too many new things coming to it

I’m also not expecting to buy tomorrow. I need to see the presentation/specifications/reviews/blblabla and then see if it fits my “requirements”

Hopefully there will be a SV firmware update soon to solve problems and add functionality

the good thing about the charger cable is, that you hardly ever need it with the current models

@Mff73 Actually the cable for S9P was quite good, if not perfect. S9PP redesign made it worse, but there were some technical reasons to do it.
And while it it’s not perfect, I’m at least happy I just have one cable know for all family watches

agree with you, not used too often this charger, and agree on the fact it is done with reasons, but, and you confirmed, it is not a charger for off-road charging
Yesterday trying to download a map, SV on the charger was warning me a lot to put watch on the charger I need to rotate it a few degrees aside the “normal” position to make watch download ) Too much sensitive.
