Hello, I have used the Suunto vertical in two trekking, when comparing the ascent data between the suunto app and other apps (wikiloc/komot/basecamp), they have given me very different ascent data. In the first trek there is a difference of 400m (SA 1636 vs 1220m wikiloc/komot), I have exported the gpx file from the SA to the other apps, the correct data are those of wikiloc\Komot\Basecamp since I have followed a route that already knew the total ascent. In the second trek there was a difference of 100m (SA 1103m vs 1220 Wikiloc). During the treks the watch showed the same ascent as the Suunto App. The watch was updated with the latest firmware.

@joacoastete I sometimes have the same with my S9. Honestly, I’m not sure that the watch is at fault, perhaps it’s just the vertical analogue of the coastal paradox:

If you want to make sure the altitude is correct, you could go the same route a few more times to at least check if it’s consistent.
