Latest activities not syncing with Suunto App
-
@Vanessa-Koustas
so, you lost those activities details, sorry.You can eventually add them manually in SuuntoApp with minimum information from what is in watch logbook : it is the best you can have now
-
@Mff73 how does this happen? Does the app not ensure all activities are copied over before an update?

depending on each situation : if app is not connected or any issue during sync prior to FW update (with Suuntolink on desktop), then … What could be good, but my last Spartan update was so long ago, could be that Suuntolink sync to SA cloud before any update or at least warn the user he may loose data if not.

There is a big warning on SuuntoLink saying this exact thing before you update.
(you have unsynced activities yadi yada)
We cannot really stop you / force you to sync before the update happens.
-
It’s possible to program Suuntolink to auto sync before a firmware update?
-
@Mi_chael Suuntolink atm does not sync to Suunto app. The reason is that Movescount is still around In the future yes.

Thanks

Suuntolink does not sync to SA ? Or just for Ambit series and not for Spartan/S line ?
-
@Mff73 correct. Only for Ambits since they are cable based (also) etc. (and other devices).

@Mff73 In my case I have Suunto5 and I did a big activity, 5hours and half of 110 Km, recorded on the watch. It keeps syncronizing and it seems that everything is fine but could not “read” the activity. Finished the activity I did a second one, 25 minutes stretching, and the app synchronized this latest, in a normal way. So it seems the big one is like invisible for the APP…any proper solution to suggest on this case?
