@fluca There’s always some leeway in the dates of confidentality (diagram, etc), as you can see from the vertical and th others products. But we’ll see
The vertical UX redesign will arrive with the ECAR -
@fluca Last fall release was mid-October, I’d say, the new watch would be released at a similar point in time.

Dear diary, I need to write down my feelings somewhere, so here we go:
I am glad we, Vertical early adopters, did (most probably) the testing for this
No, but honestly, I have very mixed feelings about this and feel a bit let down. I get there will be always a newer watch, but considering the past releases this is coming out of nowhere (at least for me) just a few months after Vertical was released (and tested the patience of a bunch of users). I just wish they would skip Vertical and introduce this one instead… even though the story with bugs and flaws would be probably the same…

My guess is it will be targeted to a completely different audience (a la Suunto 7 vs 9 Baro)…at least that’s what I’m hoping to avoid that feeling you’ve described

@stromdiddily It’s been speculation from the start. Let’s wait for the official announcements. The S9 era is over, so the catalogue will evolve.

@tomasbartko tbh over the last few years suunto released a new watch every 6 month or so. And since s9p people always said “i wish suunto would release this watch right away and not the previous model”. I think to a certain extent this happens with every piece of tech one is interested in.
