I want to send back mine but I really don’t want to wait a full month for it to come back, is it usually better ? for example, if I send it in September maybe ?
You buy a new watch in France you have about 30 jours to return it.
When your old watch gets repaired, return the new one.
-
@surfboomerang Good point! Could be some anti insect DEET too. DEET is also very aggressive to some plastic.
-
@Martin-Wozenilek DEET a military proofed watch is braking while DEET!? Bad point

kek, your military proofed watch comes with full of bubbles on sensors, that’s a true good point

@GiPFELKiND to which military standard test do you refer? There are many.

@zhang965 Sooo… no chemical tests.
DEET and suncream are still plausible -
@surfboomerang military does not use sunscreen, so no need to test
-
@Likarnik You’re right. Camo paint tests should also be included
-
@zhang965 Well, I don’t have 400€ to shell out for a month just to have a watch ^^

@macpen Look i sent my watch to service Center in Prague in 28.6. my unit arrived there at 30.6. The repair Center sent my watch in the way from Prague to finland where my watch arrived in 3.7. yesterday (1 Month later) i got message from SUUNTO Finnland my watch is sending back to me. Today i look in track report --> Finnland sent my watch to Prague. Asking via Email where the Problem is whyi dont get my repaired watch and i only got this as reaction!!! Wait 1 month and now the watch will shipped again from Prague to Germany!!! Why SUUNTO Not directly from Finnland top Germany!!! So sad abou suunto service! Looks totally not coordinated! Sorry Suunto are you kidding me? Are you Joking!?
Where is the good old Suunto Service?! Lost in Wildness!? -
@GiPFELKiND Could it be that you purchased your watch from some idealo store or online (and actually it is CZ watch)? Cause I sent mine to Finland directly and got it back in Germany directly.
-
@Hristijan-Petreski According to their website, H.S.H Sport is the authorized Suunto service centre for Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland , France, Germany, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia and Sweden.
But who knows how does it work in practice and it might also depend on how busy individual service centres are… -

Hmmh… maybe lost when Amer sold Suunto to China?
But, this is what i am afraid of, i have had this watch now about 3weeks, and if i have to send it to warranty and it takes 4+ weeks, not so good thing to handle. Do i have to buy another one and sell this when it comes back from warranty or something similar. Dunno…

Amer was already Chinese before selling Suunto to Liesheng.
-
@isazi Yeah! Amer itself was sold to China. Suunto has just been passed around in China, although at lower valuations.
-
@GiPFELKiND this is not per SE Suunto hq issue. The issue is with Prague service center. Please contact them.

Just sent my watch to CZ, wish me luck on the delays ^^
On a side note, the DHL pickup at home is absolutely great, it feels nice to have things like that made to help you reduce the inconvenience, they grabbed my watch a 2 pm yesterday, and is already out for delivery in Prague -
@Elipsus I had my vertical replaced in a week roughly. Of course I am away from home for a month to test it and enjoy it On a side note though, mine went strait to Finland (no CZ in between).
-
@Hristijan-Petreski Good to know ! My guess is that the repair center in CZ is not yet trained on repairing the Vertical ? otherwise if my watch then has to go Finland from CZ instead of France that’s a huge waste of time/money/CO2
