Hi There,
I just got the Vertical as the Baro 9’s button would always stick. While happy with the battery life, I cannot get a long activity (and shorter one before that) to sync to the app.
Activity 1: 2 mile shakeout run-stuck on watch
Activity 2: 102.5 run-stuck on watch
Activity 3: 14 mile bike ride-synced no problemI’ve been talking with the chat function online and they are “escalating the issue.” Who knows when or if I will get help. I unpaired, forgot, deleted, reinstalled, repaired etc. I have the latest version of the IOS, app, and watch firmware. The activity is in the logbook. It has every single mile and time so it’s complete.
Any ideas? People keep saying to plug it into the computer. If I do that I remember getting a message saying, “you have un-synced activities, sync now or data will be lost.”
Thanks!
Hello,
Sad to hear your issue with vertical.
I suggest you try synchronize another phone if you can, if it doesn’t work, please don’t manipulate it too much, and contact suunto official again, if the activity is dead in your watch, you might never get it out.

@Mff73 I see what you are saying with the graphs. I thought that might be the issue, but other activities that do not seem to have the graphs have uploaded while the 102.5 mile activity did not. I’ve just unpaired with my iPhone and paired with my iPad to no avail. I appreciate you taking the time to help me troubleshoot this.

@zhang965 I just tried with an iPad. No dice. I think it is bad engineering to have a single point of failure for exporting to an app. Maybe there is a 3rd party app out there that I can use on my computer that can fetch to GPX to upload manually? I’m sad. I guess I’ll just get back out there and run the 102.5 miles in 90 degree heat at altitude again

Damn that sucks, really sucks! But just wanted to say congrats on the run, wow! Hardrock?

@MiniForklift Sometimes that’s the way she goes I guess. Ouray 100. Thanks

Amazing. Well as long as you can find a way to get it onto Strava ?!

@Kate_Co_V
Having no graph is not an initial status.
Once recorded, activities have all graphs in logbook (not only, but easiest to recognise).Once the watch memory gets full, latest activities are getting simplified in watch, erasing all real data (to free up memory) and keeping just simplified summaries for logbook followup only.
Full logbook simplification also happen after FW change or hard reset.
Your activities without graph were synced when they were full, and probably, your 100k needed more space and makes oldest activities to be simplified. Which explains why some are synced, while having no graphs “now”.
But, if your 100k looks simplified (and not compete as you thought initially) , and is not synced, yet, then, you may have loose it.Did you do any other bigger activity after this one? Did an hard reset or FW update?
If you have an Android phone, it could be worth trying to search any trace of this activity which could stay somewhere without being properly sync to the app, but without too much hope.

@Kate_Co_V I sent you a PM, check the chats.

@Mff73 All the software and firmware were up to date on my phone and watch. I did a reset by holding the top button for 12s. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I even switched to connection to the iPad and nothing. I have an iPhone.

@MiniForklift Yeah I just gave up and put it on there manually for now. It doesn’t let the 42K of climbing come through. Bummer.

@Kate_Co_V last year my S9P cannot sync my ski activity to android, but synced on iphone. Have you tried sync it to an android phone?
-
@Kai-Liu I don’t have access to one, but that’s a great suggestion. Thank you!
