HotFix release 2.25.66
-
@Mff73 today it was normal. Looks like my vertical had a bad day (and night) after a hotfix
-
I had a crash during activity, it was core and decoupling app, I did make a pause after it determined my base (after 21 minutes into run). It saved activity but no core or decoupling data was saved.
It was performance battery, stryd and suunto hr belt. I started a second but this time efficiency app, no problems. -
I also had a crash during a trail run after 3 hours today, suddenly I saw my time screen…
And I still had 8km to go Fortunately everything was saved, but it is annoying…
I ran with my stryd and my polar verity sense heart rate monitor. I ran a route and had performance battery on -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Hi, made a trip to cologne today. My watch didn’t show a map although I downloaded the whole of Germany… Soft reset didn’t work… the map works 150 km away in my home town of Hessen… The vertical is really unreliable…
-
@Sascha-Domres
please, avoid “spamming” in multiple thread. -
@Sascha-Domres
there was an issue with some german maps.
will you be in Köln again these days? or any other location you’ll visit, soon that is not in your home region?
and maybe, if you have issues with maps, restarting the watch and maybe deleting and downloading again might at least be worth a try… if you have network and charger with you, of course -
@sartoric sorry
-
@freeheeler Hey thanks… unfortunately I’m only in Cologne this afternoon… I’ve tried restarting without success… do you think I have to download all the maps again?
-
@Sascha-Domres
it’s hard to test which maps are working or not. basically they should work without issues. when there are general issues, like short after launch, they can only be fixed once they’re reported of course.
I didn’t have maps either on my first weekend trip, just after launch -
When you edit cycling power, no matter what you enter it shows minus signs for every zone, and this screen won’t let me go back. Eventually it goes back if I leave it alone.
-
@freeheeler okay thank you, i will deleted all Maps and Download again…
-
@Sascha-Domres
not sure if this is really necessary, I would just do it with NRW, but it’s hard for you to test if it improves, right?
I once downloaded a lot of maps to check what happens when you get close to max storage capacity, but now I have the maps I know I need in the near future only -
@freeheeler yes i can not test it cause i am back home…but thank you…
-
@Sascha-Domres
I’ve had issues with a map today, too. what did you see, when you noticed it’s not working as expected? -
@freeheeler I went on a 4 day bikepacking trip and maps didn’t work. On the positive as I forgot my charger cord and was initially worried, 4 days with about 4-6 hours riding per day, all systems activated, performance GPS, HR etc, I still had +50% charge left on the watch when I rolled in home. The downside is even though I downloaded the complete map of the area where I was riding (Sunshine Coast/Vancouver Island area), maps never worked - just the black screen with the grid. Now that Im home, its working again.
-
@mikekoski490
sounds like a nice trip!
sorry to hear that you were unlucky with the maps, too.
I’ve sent logs and will pass on your experience, too. -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Dimitri good morning. I saw that on the previous update (2.25.64) there is a mention on compass calibration fixed.
I did update to the latest version (2.25.66) yesterday in hope that it would fix this problem too, yet I tend to tangle my hands around trying to make this 8 shape for calibrating the compass in vain.
Note that I have managed with the old version to calibrate it once (one month ago). From there on it always asks me to calibrate it back with no success. I also own two core black suunto’s in several years time and I did not have this problem.
I know that this is not an OpenWaterTracking issue yet I do not know if the newer version does fix the problem with the compass calibration too (I suppose it should).
Thanks

Hi guys. I had another crash/restart of my vertical right after I start my exercise. I sent logs to suunto right after watch recover. Luckily this was “just a ride”, but it is not funny anymore considering it can happen on the start of the race. PM me if you need more info.

I sent logs to suunto right after watch recover.
Did you contact support or someone here (eg. @isazi , @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos ) ?
Because just sending logs is not really useful -
@sartoric I know it is not useful to just send logs. This is why I wrote here, so someone can contact me in case it is not already identified bug or suunto need more info.
