Bug: charging and maps download issues

Hi, today I put watch on charger as it was ~15%. I forgot that I marked another map for download meanwhile. When I came to watch ~1 hour later, I saw on screen map download in progress. I was surprised, so I check in suunto app and selected map was already downloaded. So I waited a bit, then I disconnected charger from watch, but downloading in progress was still there. nothing helped to remove it, but watch was connected to suunto app, so I sent logs ~9:48CEST, then I did soft reset. What was my another surprise that watch battery was still 15%. So I sent logs again. When I connected to charger, it went down to 14% and then started to charge. I sent logs again. My SV also doesn’t charge while downloading maps.

Well, there’s a reason why you need to keep it connected to the charger to download maps.

Very probably the wifi connection is energy hungry

Or maybe the watch was just stuck

so my watch today freeze again on the charger. this time no map download. when I remove it from the dock it was black screen and no reaction. I had to do soft reset. is it only mine?

@dombo I had exactly the samen a ffew weekse ago , also had to do a soft reset after loading

This issue has not been fixed until now as I have recently expecienced with charging my SV with 7% - 1 hour later one map (which I forgot I set for download ages ago) got downloaded and the battery was as low as at 6%… You have to disconnect and connect the cable once again to start charging the watch - this is pain in guess where… Any idea is this is getting fixed in the upcoming update?
