Suunto Beta Release for Suunto 9 Peak Pro, Suunto 9 Peak, Suunto 9 Baro, Suunto 9 and Suunto 5 Peak
-
For those not seeing Suunto Apps in the watch and just in case. After the update, the Suunto Apps that Ii had installed previously did not show in the watch. I simply uninstalled and installed back again using the App. Not they all show fine and can select them for any activity. Even during the activity itself!!! Great work, Suunto.

— New weather data available for SuuntoPlus (=visible during training)
What’s this about? S+ Weather? If so, I don’t see any change.

@Ilya-Sul soon

-
@twekkel it seems that it was fixed. I reconnected to Strava and synced a new activity. All is well in the world (:-).

Just experienced a mid run crash.
S9P
Guide on
~1h 6minLost some data but not all.
Started a new exercise immediately after, no guide. ~32min. No issues.Should I send logs?

S9PP
Sadly, the dnd bug is still there:
- have auto dnd enabled
- disable it before the automatic time hits
- enable it manually past the automatic time
- it’ll get disabled the next full minute
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel same for Vertical, I’ll report it.

S9PP might never get vertical’s watchface, but at least S9PP gets vertical’s bugs.
We are very even

@zhang965 nah. It’s the other way around.
-
The Mermaiding UI on the new 9PP firmware has some fields improperly sized. The became really small. I couldn’t take a photo in the water but note here how the numbers become tiny compared to the original UI (website screenshot).
Not sure what other modes this would be on.

@Umer-Javed The same in snorkeling.

Anyone found a problem with their recovery time not counting down after installing this beta?
-
@wakarimasen If I remember correctly, it doesn’t count down when you’re stressed (or at least your watch thinks you are :D). Cannot this be the case?
EDIT: Actually, I might be wrong about that.
Anyway, it seems quite close to this topic, doesn’t it? https://forum.suunto.com/topic/8728/recovery-time-not-working-properly?_=1687723005755 -
I think this was reported before, but just in case - the coloured ring for HR zones is no longer coloured (it is grey with the exception of the first one (yellow)). I did not look during the activity, so i cannot say if the colour changes as you progress through the zones or not.

When Compass widget is active on the S9PP I can’t wipe in the menus, seems like the touch screen is off for the compass menu? I can swipe to the Navigation Options, but then touch screen doesn`t work anymore.
-
@jthomi same here. Also, when “down”, it’s impossible to get back with press and hold middle button.
-
@wakarimasen It’s a Suunto Vertical bug that got ported to the other watches (edit: or maybe just the 9PP). Recovery Time doesn’t work on the Vertical right now.
This has nothing to do with Resources btw.
-
@gi0vanni after about a week I installed the beta wohr seems a little better (just curious: has anything been addressed in this direction or it’s a placebo?)

Not for my S9P. My recovery time is counting down.

@inkognito Yes - thanks!
