HotFix release 2.25.64
-
@LitchiMonster poi navigation you mean ?
-
@LitchiMonster could you be specific? I tried poi navigation and no issues
-
@gone-troppo yes 50% is needed. The app just pushes the update.
-
@isazi awesome and noted. really appreciate your info sharing.
overall so far map movement and smoothness really great -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos from map screen, accessed by pushing on bottom button from the watch face, it all seemed in order. Then from the map screen I selected poi navigation, without starting exercise, and the map was replaced by black squares. I then exited this and Tried to access map by starting an exercis (walking). From within walking exercise, it still was not shown. Tried tuning map off and on, and changing maps styles from within walking exercise but still nothing.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I can’t see the map at all now. Should I try anything else? Soft reset watch? Delete the “Western Cape” map region and re-install?
-
@LitchiMonster Soft reset
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos soft reset worked, thanks!
-
Should the small widget lag also be solved in this hotfix? It’s still there on my watch.
-
Can somebody tell me, what this improvement changes?
“Backlight behavior in DND mode improved”
-
@Mitch9 I don’t know. Maybe it did lit up on notifications while it shouldn’t or the light wasn’t dimmed compared to the normal backlight setting.
I can’t remember I had any issues with the DND mode before.
-
@Mitch9 when you have standby light on , then it is disabled during DND
-
@surfboomerang next. Major refactor
-
I don’t know if it’s a one time thing, but after the hotfix I opened the map. It rendered correctly. A few hours later, I was 30 km from the first location and I opened the map again. This time I got a black grid on all zoom levels.
Soft-reboot did fix it.
-
The UI on my watch is even more sluggish now. It takes a long time to switch between or exit widgets by long pressing the middle button.
Will do a soft reset later and report back.
-
@Ilya-Sul Agreed, it definitely takes longer to exit a widget by long pressing the middle button, now it’s a extra-long press.
-
@Ilya-Sul yes. This fixes the issue that before the watch went from within the widget to watch face and directly into settings. Now it stays in watch face as it should
-
@Egika It’s still slow as heck.
-
@Kurt68 I don’t think it is fixed. I just did 1:45 hour MTB ride with weather & climb S+ and it eat 8% of battery (67 to 59% and battery is calibrated)
-
@dombo thanks then I’d rather not activate any apps for my race at the weekend
