Balance and ground contact time with baro 9? Stryd?
-
Hi all,
I’m recovering from a hernia surgery and wanted to see my body balance and left/right ground contact time when running on the treadmill but it looks like this is not something available directly with suunto. Garmin got that in the belt.Apparently Stryd can provides those informations, is that something displayed then in the Suunto App or not at all? Anybody is using that with a Baro 9 watch?
Thanks !

At least in field testing there is a S+ Stryd Function, that is reading and displaying all the live data from Stryd, like power, contact time, vertical oscillation and leg spring.
Don’t know when this will be deployed, but the data ends up in Suunto App nicely -
@Egika so, post run you can see your vertical oscillation and all directly in the suunto app?

@darxmurf Maybe I was not super clear. And I cannot promise anything. But yes, the data is stored together with all other metrics and can be selected to be displayed in the graphs of SA.

@Egika Thanks ! But huh, just realized this stuff is around 260€ I better buy a garmin instead
-
@darxmurf afaik Garmin only offers balance data when used with one of their HR Belts

@ChrisA yeah I own the Garmin hrm pro plus and no balance metrics are contained in my fit files
