Software update 2.22.60 (Only S9 Peak Pro) (HotFix)

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
Interesting, will shorter time to find gps affect on open water swimming tracking? -
@Kosta yes OWS should work much better now. I had tested this back in the summer with a prev GPS FW and was ok. Then new GPS FW came and had this issue with the GPS aquisition times (tunnel works like OWS)

Updated .
After update, I removed some sports mode from recent list. And I have a “ghost mode” .
Then I tried a restart, but long press upper button doesn’t do anything, just going into activity launch screen. A new key combination for restart?
[edit] sorry for picture quality, my S10e is almost dead and can’t find a suitable replacement (micro SD and screen < 6.2")
-
@Mff73 there is a combo I do not remember, but just go in general settings and turn off your device.
-
@isazi It is still long press on the upper button. It will go through all the sport modes, then be “stuck” there on the uppermost one, and then eventually reboot.

yes, that works.
Thanks
And my ghost mode disappeared -
- One of my two custom modes disappeared. Such a loss.
- I did a short walk with endurance mode. It seems that there’s no difference between performance and endurance. It’s bullseye, even between buildings.
- I had a super-precise track even from the early start. It very rarely happens with my Suunto experience (usually first ~minute is so-so).

Didn’t receive update yet, is it normal?
-
@renton82
yes, because Dimitrios mentioned “staged”.
means that not all receive it at once. similar to SA updates -

This update brings improvements to GPS performance in a watch.
Shorter time to find GPS signal
Kind of irrevelant but FWIW my nearly 3yr old S9B has taken less than 5 seconds to acquire a GPS fix every day so far this week
