Suunto 9 Peak Pro?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos well, I have no technical knwoledge on that, I rely on your statement. But being readibility a concern for me (although I have get used to it), I am sad/disappointed with the fact that it implies that we will remain with the current UI and that no advances have been made during the development of this new FW on this regard. I am not alone on this, as we have discussed in this forum before, I guess.

i am there for a pre order. Let see what field testers had since months, and what i may like or not to replace my Spartan

@isazi how does the vibration feel? Same as S9P?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I said yesterday that I don’t care about snorkeling feature… but now I want it
-
@Mff73
now you jump all the way on the top of technology and you aren’t left behind with updates anymore -
@mountainChris not sure, that is very personal, I would say that they feel the same. It wakes me up, and I notice it when it vibrates.
-
@ Pico Moixero 2091m altitude (note I am 1.86m tall and standing above the peak ) -

Let’s wait and see. -
@Mff73
I’m crossing fingers for you!
…I can’t wear my watch like Marc on his picture that’s why I will most probably always rely on external HR devices.
despite that, the rest sounds very appealing -
-
@MarcW made same experiences with S9B and S9P. That’s why I like it very much
-
I have a half-marathon on the 23rd, there really is no way to have it before the 25th ?
-
Where is a lock button in time mode???
To be a real PRO…By the way… very good upgrades 🤟

Guess I will have to wait for the Suunto 9 Peak Pro Plus (S9PPP ) or maybe a completely new model SX? to get a bigger version.
-
Diving abilities for snorkeling is controlled by the barometer? Will this be an option on older watches as well?
-
@Pavlas no, the new barometric sensor can work reliably until 10 meters under water without compromising its above the water performance, the old barometric sensors cannot.

that is quite interesting
-
Can we get real comparison pictures of the screens between Peak and Peak pro? Like in normal watchmode and trainingmode?
-
@gerasimos
lock in time mode isn’t really necessary as these buttons are much less prone to unwanted pressing.
it would be nice in general, when you come out of the water or have a rainy day and stop an activity though
