Watch full of activities?
-
What happens when a Suunto watch fills up with activities? Will it automatically delete old activities if they have been synced?
-
@activejiggy
it will also delete old activities if they are not synced.
it’s not the amount of activities that is relevant but the amount of data. if you have mainly very long activities, the watch will store less activities before they get overwritten.
but what’s the reason for keeping activities in the watch without syncing them to SA? -
@freeheeler I sync my activities regularly so they are all uploaded. I wasn’t sure if some work was needed to make sure there’s space on the watch.
Since the Suunto 9 warns about battery life being too short for activities, maybe a warning about the app removing unsynchronized activities would be helpful.

must be a rare case… normally people sync every now and then.
my logbook contains activities back to 30st March, that’s 109h of activities. -

and you don’t even need to do it manually. It happens when you turn on the BT on your phone, if the watch isn’t in airplane (like) mode
