      hi guys,
the spartan sport of a friend of mine lost GPS during the last activity and does not get a fix anymore since then.
      running on latest firmware.
does not sound really good. told her to try a restart (12sec upper button)
      any suggestions from your side?

      thank you.

@asdf123 Hi, I had a similar issue maybe two weeks ago with my Spartan Ultra. No GPS fix for the whole run and when I tried to sync it with the Movescount App afterwards it remained stuck with optimizing GPS performance. Then I did a restart (12 sec upper button) and it’s been ok. So for me restart fixed it. But it seems there is possibly some bug in the last firmware.

restarting didn’t fix it. also windows is not recognizing watch correctly (with a yellow exclamation mark in the device manager)
tried to force driver installation by starting suuntolink as admin.
but i think also their windows-installation with some wrong drivers is fucked up, as she first installed a wrong file (something for suunto dm4) instead of suuntolink. i have no idea what else i should/could do remotely from 700km away 😞

@asdf123 Resetting to factory settings would be worth a try.

@kurt68 how can i do it without connecting to suuntolink and reflash the firmware? (as the spartan doesnt work on their windows pc atm)
                which button to press? 😉

you need the pc because the firmware is re-loaded. The question is whether a reset does not solve the connection problems with the pc. it is a risk. you have to press all 3 buttons.

@kurt68 thats my problem, that i need the pc.
so i have to fix the driver-issues on windows first. (hopefully just the drivers are the issue and not the watch itself)

will see when there is time to do the next remote session with them and try.
                    thank you.
