@Antonello85 that is just an estimate, that is overrule by the app when you sync. If it does not happen for you it may be an iOS issue indeed (there are no problems for me with Android)

This is an old tread but this continues being an issue. Today’s example: Route ascent/descent when planned in Suunto app: 9200+ ft. The same route ascent/descent when planned in Strava : 7426 ft Actual ascent/descent measured by Race: 7477 ft. The same route ascent/descent measured by Garmin Epix and Fenix 7: 7800 ft. This is way off! Most of the time Suunto App underestimates elevation by 10-20%, but I find that in large mountains it seems to overestimate, especially, I suspect, when traversal of steep slopes is involved. At the same time, Strava is pretty much spot on. Too bad, when a route is synced from Strava to Suunto app, the revelation data is overridden by Suunto app.

@soisan Thanks, everyone. Sorry for not noticing the previous posts - I only checked the iOS subsection of the Forum before posting. Hopefully, my post we be helpful to future iOS users who are also experiencing this issue I can confirm my latest run was classified as “Anaerobic” and not “VO2Max” anymore. While I still think this is a bit exaggerated given my HR zones, it will do. In conclusion, for any future reader: Check your HR zones Check whether you have running-specific HR zones set Check your power zones Check your pace zones I still find it a bit funny that the watch uses Power data to label the running sessions. Where does this data even come from? And setting the zones is also weird, I don’t know what those Power levels correspond to. It would be nice if the watch automatically matched Power/HR zones based on previous activities.

@zucchero you can’t invert pages…you need to be careful when you create (it’s an annoying point of sport mode customization since beginning)

@jasonc Thanks for this. Interesting. I did some troubleshooting, but should have done what you’ve done with RunGap. I ended up choosing the nuclear option by doing a reset of the device. Placebo maybe, but my Suunto Race seems to be smoother in performance now. I did a stretching activity after the reset and seems to be fine now. Will do a run later on today and see how it goes. If the issue rears its head again I will for sure refer to your fix. Thanks again!

Having the same problem as OP on the last bike tour I had yesterday. Almost 12 hours and still loading the activity. I can see it on the phone but not Zonesense and all the statistical data. Also Suunto coach don’t recognize it. I’m on version 3.0.0 and this is my first activity with this update. [image: 1755062562178-img_1681.jpeg]

Previously, when I searched for a name in the Activities list, a count of activities with that keyword was displayed. For example I am quite often on a local mountain and always wanted to know how many times I already was there. Now in the new version this count was removed, so I have to count the activities manually. This is a pity and would be great if somehow this could be implemented again. [image: 1754804329329-ea3b26e0-7add-4aa4-adbc-fe2df4cf6c0c-image.jpeg] 1 activities = just the one done on one specific day. Previously there was a line above all with a count, i.e. 20 activities. Or is there a way to do it?

@Pierre-L I’ve got exactly the same problem you had. I accepted the critical update, the app worked as normal for about 2 days and then would no longer open. It still won’t open 3-4 days later so I’m also going to have to delete and reinstall it. Do you lose any data - routes, custom sport modes etc - if you delete the app? I assume it’s all saved on a server and will redownload to the phone app? Edit: my phone is telling me I have over 2GB of data in the app, no idea what this is, I thought only the most recent activities (plus routes) were stored on the phone. @Milan-Šádek said in Deleting Tags?: @Brad_Olwin Do you or anybody else here know if deleting tags is on the app development roadmap? I’ve gathered quite a few that are no longer needed and it would be very helpful to be able to remove them. Don’t know, I’ve been asking and I have a few tags I need to delete as well.
