      Hey guys,

I just made a very small experiment :

      • I noticed that when on the charger, the screen of the watch goes completely off (like, nothing, not just “no backlight”), and I thought it was a behavior when charging until i removed my watch from my wrist and put it on the side of my desk for a few minutes, and then the screen turned off again.
      • So, the screen on/off is based on movement, which is great !
      • BUT : even in this “no movement” mode, the HR sensor will continue blinking if its against any surface, and it doesn’t seem to stop even when there is no movement (and no HR to take).

So, maybe a small improvement would be to also disable the OHR when there is absolutely no movement, for people who don’t wear their watch all the time that could improve the total battery life ?

      Cheers !

@Elipsus about the ohr I think it might work well to even if you are still it triggers stuff like hrv etc. The benefit is minimal on power consumption even if it would trigger it off.

Try a dark surface I think.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Indeed yes, so that means it should check whether it sees a pulse or not.
My problem is that i’m using a loop strap, so I can’t rally put it in a way to stop the OHR, but that’s really minor trouble (especially because i practically never remove my watch)
