Thanks, wife’s S9PP updated and it looks like my SV now .
Where are the maps? . -
@Mff73 Wow! S9PP now is very attractive…
-
Hello, thanks.
Just one question: now oHR, during an activity, is always active even if disabled in the options. Am I missing anything?I did a quick walk-through and everything seems okay. The whole thing is now great! Well done, developers!
It seems also PPG fw has been updated, now is v. 0.1.62 -

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos thanks a lot for the information
Will do the update right now
-
@Mff73 ok, thanks for pointing me there so I know the workaround. Not a real problem though because if I use the chest strap this one takes over the oHR anyway.
-
@robis Have the same experience - can’t be turned off, I’m not 100% that chest strap has always higher priority, so possibility to switch OHR off is appreciated from my point of view. Anyway update is very nice, I like the new environment. I find it more straightforward and effective.

I agree, it was just to say that as long as it is not fixed, it is not a problem
-
It feels like font has been increased. I like that!
And I like this vertical scrolling. It reminds me of my SSU. Basically the same logic - scroll down for a widget and scroll horizontally to get the info from it. Great!
Thanks Suunto!
-
As a small detail: I noticed that if I have a scheduled workout today, before I start the activity I have to scroll down to confirm whether I want to follow that guide or not, whereas previously I could use the upper or lower button to say Yes or No.
I don’t love the new UI structure for the widgets, but I’ll get used to it
In general the watch feels more responsive and notifications seem to be better displayedThanks for this update and for keeping your promise!
-
@Francesco-Pagano should I report this as an issue ? What do others say? It went worse ?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I don’t think it’s an issue. It’s just different and a matter of choice.
Personally, I like it more now.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
Vertical user but same across the new UI - I prefer the old style as that is in line with the up button acting as confirmation logic found in most menu items. And it’s just a little quicker. -
Installed on my 9pp and I love the new UI
Thank you -
@robis I see it the same
-
@AntoniusGaius The chest strap always has priority.
-
Just installed it, love the new UI layout, and the “long press up” shortcut is really handy !
Looking forward to see HRV data ! -
Some of my custom sport modes went boo boo after the update. Only the last three used remained. No big deal, just a shout out as it never happened before.

https://forum.suunto.com/post/132349A follow-up to this, just discovered after a short evening run. If you do not want HR monitoring during an activity, simply turn off the HR belt sensor as well.
