Software Update 2.30.32

It feels like font has been increased. I like that!
And I like this vertical scrolling. It reminds me of my SSU. Basically the same logic - scroll down for a widget and scroll horizontally to get the info from it. Great!
Thanks Suunto!
-
As a small detail: I noticed that if I have a scheduled workout today, before I start the activity I have to scroll down to confirm whether I want to follow that guide or not, whereas previously I could use the upper or lower button to say Yes or No.
I don’t love the new UI structure for the widgets, but I’ll get used to it
In general the watch feels more responsive and notifications seem to be better displayedThanks for this update and for keeping your promise!

@Francesco-Pagano should I report this as an issue ? What do others say? It went worse ?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I don’t think it’s an issue. It’s just different and a matter of choice.
Personally, I like it more now.
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos
Vertical user but same across the new UI - I prefer the old style as that is in line with the up button acting as confirmation logic found in most menu items. And it’s just a little quicker. -
Installed on my 9pp and I love the new UI
Thank you -
@robis I see it the same
-
@AntoniusGaius The chest strap always has priority.
-
Just installed it, love the new UI layout, and the “long press up” shortcut is really handy !
Looking forward to see HRV data ! -
Some of my custom sport modes went boo boo after the update. Only the last three used remained. No big deal, just a shout out as it never happened before.

Hello, thanks.
Just one question: now oHR, during an activity, is always active even if disabled in the options. Am I missing anything?i didn’t check myself, but if correct, it is then same bug as in SV latest FW .
https://forum.suunto.com/post/132349A follow-up to this, just discovered after a short evening run. If you do not want HR monitoring during an activity, simply turn off the HR belt sensor as well.

I’ve just finished a run after the update. Before syncing to SA watch already showed some updated metrics. After uploading the run to SA and syncing the watch with the app, I have the same metrics both in the watch and in the app.
I remember there were lots of reported issues that watch and app show different values (with one day delay). Was it solved or it’s me who got lucky?
-
@rooldaa this was a problem with the Race at least but it is now resolved on the Race with today’s SW - at least according to my experience with 1 post-update workout. So both Race and 9 Peak Pro users should be in the clear!
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos not an issue from my perspective, just a slower interaction but no big deal
-
um, where is the timer hidden now?
-
@jthomi customize > widgets > timer
-
@robis Thanks mate!
-
@jthomi it has its own widget but you can either pin it to center button or to top one as a shortcut.
-
Do you suggest of reset the watch? After the update?
-
@falkon actually the watch will re-start after the update. So no extra reset necessary.
