      I have the Race about 2 weeks and the behaviour of gps in performance mode in the first 1kms /1,5km is completely weird,the distance is right but the track are completely of road, after that tracks the right path i run. Is a no problem, because the distance match,but is not supposed to have this behaviour

        @tiago Do you wait until the correct GPS acquisition before starting your run ?
        Also, what can help is to stay static for 30 more seconds once you get a lock, just so your watch can lock on few more Satellites, the watch will say “OK” once it gets 4 stats, but that’s the bare minimum, it needs more to be reliable

          @tiago
          do you wait enough in the prestart menu, after the GPS fix, to let the GPS stabilized to the real correct position ?

            @Mff73 yes,I wait almost 1 minute before start. But hey,I only do that with Suunto Race, with Fênix 7 and 955 never had to wait or this kind of tracks. Sometimes in the first 300 meters,but normally is great gps tracks. But like i said,is a no problem ,at least for me, because the distance is accurate,it just to let know Suunto this of this strange behaviour.

              I usually also don’t wait for anything, sometimes I start the activity when GPS has no fix yet. Like yesterday, when the recording started some seconds in the activity right on track.

              Is your issue always there or has it been a glitch?

                  @Egika always since day one. I’m updating the software already, let’s see if that behaviour changes,but like i said,is a no problem, because the distance and pace is correct,so there is no big deal on that

                    @tiago for the first stuff, wait like 5 mins before starting in open sky. Only once after reboot or fw update.

                        @vjakub at the start of the activity after a reboot the gps cache is cleared. So it knows very little and only agps can help out.

                          @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I did that,I went to walk with my dog for about 15 minutes with gps on. It’s much better than previous tracks, just don’t know if it was for the long gps fix or for the software update. Tomorrow I will update you about that 😁 for now only positive things about the update
